Our History and How We Have Evolved
The premises have always served as an important location for the community, whether as a taxi company, post office and even as a hotel.
Currently a thriving dental practice, it was originally established in 1960 by Dr. Peter Horswill, a successful business entrepreneur and the principle dentist, who developed the practice and managed until 1980. Dr. Tim Mills then took the reins followed by Dr. Mark Inman who expanded from two surgeries to five. He was an inspirational mentor, who also trained VT dentists, selecting the cream of his students to join the Ivydene team. Mark is still involved and although he has stepped back, retains a keen interest and currently works as an associate.
The current and proud owners, are keen to maintain the practice’s development and whilst working alongside Mark, continue to expand and enhance the dental services offered.

The new owners, Dr. Rujuta, Dr.Ketan, Dr. Bhavika and Mr. Sachin work closely and creatively inspire new heights of dentistry and expertise, whilst retaining traditional values and first-class customer service. Ivydene continues to evolve into a key focal point within the area supporting the local community with all their dental needs and where required, including complex cases meriting advanced dental technical skills, facilities and technology.
