Christine Slater

• Christine qualified in Dental Hygiene from The Royal Navy in Portsmouth in 1983.

• She joined Ivydene in 2009 and enjoys being part of this team.

• She enjoys getting to know her patients and meeting new ones joining the practice. Every patient is an individual and will receive hygiene treatment that is bespoke to their condition.

• She has a special interest in helping nervous patients and will endeavor to help them gain their confidence in the dental chair using a thorough but gentle approach.

• She is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy and regularly attends courses to learn new skills.

• Outside work, Christine enjoys walking her rescue dog from Greece, gardening, reading and has recently embarked on a new hobby of pottery.
